The Chairman Resettlement committee of chonku and Assa communities in Wukari local government area of Taraba State Edward Ajibauka says Governor Darius Dickson Ishaku is committed towards ensuring sustained  peace in the affected communities 

The chairman stated this in wukari while distributing fertilizers, cassava stems, Beans and mini tractors to the people of chonku and Assa communities .

Edward Ajibauka,  explained that the distribution of the cassava stems among others to the displaced persons shows that the governor has passion for the people calling on them to return to their places of abode 

Ajibauka noted that the committee is saddle with the task of helping building confidence of the displaced persons to as a matter of necessity return and use the items for the purpose it is meant for

He said the cassava stems will be handed over to the traditional rulers father so that each house hold Will be given equally .

The chairman assured the displaced persons that Governor Darius rescue agenda will be felt in the affected communities urging them to embrace the effort and support the activities of the resettlement community to achieve it’s objective as provided in the terms of there reference.

Also speaking the chairman of Wukari local government council Adi Daniel AdiGrace appreciated the governor for the gesture and said Government will soon commence construction of houses at chonku and Assa communities.

He charged them to go back and start planting the cassava before the end of the raining season,

In their separate remarks Chairman Tiv social cultural association Joshua Ayagwa and his counter part jukun youth development association Nafinji Aboki called on the youth to embrace peace for the overall development of the area.
