Vice Chancellor Taraba State University Backed Quintessential Educationist Award.

Vice-chancellor Taraba State University Vicent Ado Tenebe has attributed quest in information desemination to the introduction of the faculty of Communication and Media Studies in the institution.
According to frontline news blog, the chancellor stated this when the officials of the Nigerian Union of Journalist, NUJ, Taraba State Chapter presented an award of Quietessential Educationist to him in his office in view of his tract record in the development of the institution.
Vicent Ado Tenebe PhD said the establishment of the faculty was inline with approval of the National University Commission, NUC following the fulfillment of requirements met in the educational discipline.
The chancellor added that the faculty is an embodiment of seven departments thus;
Film production,
Photography,
Broadcasting,
Cinematography,
Public Relation Advertisement and
News Casting.
Frontline news blog further reports that the VC praised the journalism profession in discharging critical role that geared towards shaping society positing that it operation determines the magnitude of societal position hence the need for the practitioners to uphold ethical values for effective discharge.
Tenebe attested that plans are under way to link the faculty with professional actors that can inject more disciplinary skills to students to improve their careers.
Tenebe averred that the institution is witnessing tremendous changes in both academics and administratively noting that when he came on board the university has only two professors but now can count on more numbers.
Earlier in his speech state chairman Nigerian Union of Journalist NUJ Taraba State Chapter, Jovita Shafe informed the VC that the officials were in his office to recognize his ingenuity to institutional development that saw it growth to the present level in the North-esthern region of Nigeria.
Jovita Shafe promise the unalloyed support of the union to give the institution the needed assistance that can facilitate the professional conduct of the up coming Journalists.
