The swearing-in ceremony which took place at the Zing local government secretariats conference hall drew hundreds of supporters who came to grace the occasion.
Those sworn in were, Waseh Andrew vice-chairman, Boniface Wakili Lamma ward, Christian Kotonti Bubong ward, Albert Kwavo and Felix Jauro for Monkin “A” and “B” wards, Markus Danbaba Bitako, while Sopah Kefas and Robert Jacob are councilors for Zing “A” one and “A” two with Charles Johnson for Zing “B” and Abraham Shabana Yakoko ward.
Speaking at the swearing in, the Chairman Zing local government, Andrew Zanya called on the newly sworn-in councilors to put their constituencies as their top priority.
Andrew Zanya mentioned the construction and rehabilitation of roads, the provision of potable drinking water as well as encouraging local farmers as the agenda of his administration.
The chairman called on the state government to support the vision of his administration to enable them to accomplish the set goals.
He commended the role of the governor during the last local government elections which according to him was responsible for the peaceful and credible election that saw them emerged as winners.
