COVID-19: Bauchi State Government Donates 700,000 Facemasks,in its effort to reduce the spread of Covid-19.

The Bauchi State Government donated Seven Hundred thousands of Facemask, to the Good people of  Bauchi State as part of efforts to curb the spread of coronavirus pandemic.

Governor Bala Muh’d said going by the immeasurable contributions of the state in nipping the deadly pandemic in the bud, the Government was compelled to support the excellent programmes, which he said had safeguarded the lives of people in the state.

Let me say from the onset, the programme today was planned for the initial distribution of one million facemask. The challenges of space and logistics can only permit 700,000.

The more we use these facemask, the less likelihood we will be in contracting the disease.another important measure I must be quick to remind us is the use of washing our hands constantly with soap and running water or the use of hand sanitizers.

Donation was presented to the Schools,Churches, Mosque,Agencies,organisations and Vulnerable groups,and others.

As we are aware, a primary means of transmission of the deadly Covid-19 is, among others the emission of small respiratory droplets of the virus from infected individuals, asymptomatic,or a patient with full blown Corona virus.

The governor was represented at the occasion by his deputy Sen. Baba Tela.
