TSBS MANAGEMENT STAFF HELD RETREAT.
In a bid to ensure that the management staff Taraba State Broadcasting Service TSBS update their knowledge on the new trend in broadcasting the retreat was organized at the mambilla plateau.
The retreat which took place at the highland tea Estate kakara in sardauna Local government area of Taraba State was led by the General manager of the Station Engineer Theophilus Andeyarka .
Speaking at the workshop Andeyarka thanked the state government for it’s support to the station and for making it possible for the staff to attend the retreat which will better enhanced their productivity .
The GM explained that the choice of the venue of the meeting was to enable publicized the activities of the Taraba State government in the highland tea company since the company was own by the Taraba State government.
The managing Director of the highland Tea company Timothy Fanya commended the radio station for it’s publicity on the company saying that many people round the country gets to know the company through the radio and called for a sustained publicity.
He told the management staff that it was governor Darius Dickson Ishaku that revamp the company by purchasing tea processing machine and bring back the company on its foot.
He said the company recently gave the state government a dividend of fifty million which is an evidence of it’s effective performance.
The team paid a courtesy visit on the first class chief of mambilla in Gembu Dr Audu Shehu Baju and the third class chief of kamkam Alhaji Usman kakara .
Dr Shehu Baju assured the station of his cooperaton and support and urged it to operate in line with the ethics of journalism profession .
