GOVERNOR FINTIRI RECEIVES APC DECAMPEES IN FUFORE LG
Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri has received members of the APC in Fufore back to the PDP fold.
The event which took place at the Government lodge Fufore was done in adherence to the guidelines on COVID 19 social distancing.
Represented by the Deputy Governor Chief Crowther Seth, Governor Fintiri appreciated the new entrants in the PDP and applauded their decision to identify with the FRESH AIR Government in Adamawa.
He promised to consolidate the gains of democracy by bringing dividends to the grassroot.
He identified Fufore as a strategic local Government that deserves attention.
The State PDP Chairman Barr AT Shehu promised a level ground for all new comers saying they will be accorded the same respect as old members.
He further urged them to go back to their various wards and register as politics local.
Leading the DECAMPEES Sadiq Yahaya Nuhu a former Chairmananship aspirant under the APC said they have defected en mass with their followers because of the developmental strides that is being recorded by the Fintiri led PDP government in Adamawa.
He informed that their supporters in other political parties such as the ADC have also defected to the ruling PDP.
Also contributing, an elder Statesman and the Chief Adviser to Governor Fintiri Chief Joel Madaki appreciated Governor Fintiri for embarking on purposeful governance in Adamawa.
The occasion was witnessed by top Government and party figures.
