Wife of the Taraba state Governor, Barr. Mrs. Anna Darius is touching the lives of vulnerable and the less privileged as her team of men visited communities in Southern Taraba with relief materials.
Barr. Mrs. Anna represented by Hon. Emma Ernest, SA to the Governor of Taraba state, assured IDPs in Chanchanji ward in Takum local government area, of the government readiness to help ameliorate their plight. She further said that, the relief materials is to help them with basic needs of life.
Elsewhere in Tampa, a community in Fete ward, Barr. Mrs. Anna Darius’s was seen presenting relief materials to the people of the community through her team of men.
The team was headed by Hon. John Lamba, who presented the items to the Mai Angwan Tampa and the Mangajiya for distribution to women and children, who are the most vulnerable. The relief materials were made available through Hon. Emma Ernest, (SA) to the Governor of Taraba state.
Hon. John Lamba, who stood in for Hon Ahijo Musa Eyapher, (SA) to Governor Darius on political matters, presented greetings from her Excellency, Barr. Mrs. Anna Darius to the people of the community and said her Excellency, the wife of the Governor expressed her heart for the community and said she sent in the items to help ameliorate the conditions they are passing through as a result of the recent crisis that affected the area.
Hon. Lamba further assured the people that the wife of the Governor has deep love for the community and said that, the government of Taraba state will not abandoned the community.
The Mai Angwa of the community upon receipt of the items, expressed gratitude to the wife of the Governor and appreciated her for her love and support to Tampa community. “May God continue to bless her” he said.
On her part, the Mangajiyan Tampa expressed great appreciation to the wife of the Governor and wish her blessings from God. She further called on the government to keep doing it best in helping the less privilege.
A resident of Tampa community also expressed appreciation to the wife of the Governor and said, “she has proved beyond word that she is a mother.”
Recall that the wife of the Governor also extended this gesture to other communities in the state and such efforts are still ongoing.
