Edo State Governor, Godwin Obaseki has received a boost as he prepares to be screened by the PDP screening committee today in Abuja.

The Peoples Democratic Party, PDP had already carried out its screening exercise for the Edo Governorship election on June 5, 2020 but announced the continuation of the exercise after Godwin Obaseki joined their fold.

The Governor who was screened out of the All Progressives Congress primary election because of his defective NYSC certificate and failure to produce his Higher School Certificate joined the major opposition party, Peoples Democratic Party, PDP ceremoniously with his teeming supporters yesterday
