Former MD of Taraba Microfinance Bank remanded in Prison Custody
The Magistrate Court on
Friday the 19th day of June,2020 admitted Mallam Nasiru Audu Baba to bail on some conditions over the Criminal charge over his neck for Impersonating the office of the MD Taraba Microfinance Bank. Recall, that the tenure of Nasiru Audu Baba had allegedly expired over two(2) years ago but the accused person continued impersonating the office of the MD of the Bank despite the presence of the new MD of the bank in office,thus prompting the Attorney General of Taraba State to unleash the long arm of the law against the accused person.
Though,granted bail,the accused person i.e Nasiru Audu Baba failed to fulfilled the bail conditions hence he was remanded in the Jalingo Correctional Centre and the case adjourned to next week for hearing…
