34 Special Advisers have been sworn in today by Governor Ahmadu Umaru Fintiri at an event which held at he Banuet Hall of the Government House. The occasion was observed amidst the social distancing protocols to curb the spread of Covid-19 pandemic.
The Governor also inaugurated Chairmen and members of State Planning Commission, State Universal Basic Education Board UBE, State Primary Healthcare Development Agency and that of Hospital Services Management Board, Yola.
Governor Fintiri in his remarks congratulated the Special Advisers and Board members for being appointed and their subsequent swearing in he further and charged them to work hard to justify the confidence reposed in them that warrant their merit of the job.
He described the appointees as men and women of impeccable character who were selected out of the numerous abundance of human resources in the state .
In his vote of thanks on behalf of the appointees, the Chief Special Adviser to the Governor, Chief Joel Hamman Joda Madaki thanked the Governor for giving them the opportunity to serve Adamawa people in his administration.
Comissioner for Justice and Attorney General Barr AK Jingi administered the oath of office and allegiance on the Special Advisers and Board Members.
