FUFORE COTTAGE HOSPITAL SET TO BE UPGRADED, WHILE GOV. FINTIRI LAMENT ON APC’S PAST ADMINISTRATION, BASTARDIZED STATE EDUCATION SECTOR
Adamawa state Governor Wednesday declared that government will renovate the Fufore Cottage hospital and upgrade it to a general hospital standard in order to improve healthcare service delivery in the region.
Governor Fintiri disclosed this in an interview with newsmen when he inspected the hospital and promised that the hospital will receive a comprehensive facelift to aid it provide quality healthcare service.
Fintiri expressed worries on the state of infrastructure and equipment in the hospital and pledged to provide key things the hospital deserve, which includes manpower to make it function optimally.
The Governor stressed that his administration has accorded healthcare sector the necessary attention and currently government is constructing four new cottage hospitals in addition to renovating and reconstructing the decapitated infrastructure in other hospitals across the state.
Similarly, Governor Fintiri was well at the Government Day Secondary School GSS Fufore on same mission, he lamented with dismay the way and manner the immediate past administration has bastardized the education sector.
Fintiri said the school is one of the first twenty one schools that will be rehabilitated and provide it with the state of the art facilities to make it conducive for teaching and learning so that future leaders will get sound knowledge.
The Governor disclosed that his administration has sent consultants to the school among others in the state and soon contractors will be mobilized to the sites to commence renovation and reconstruction.
In an interview, the Vice Chairman, Fufore local government Mr Japheth Hamma Jabu thanked the Governor for visiting their hospital and school and assured him unflinching support and loyalty of the people of Fufore.
