JALINGO LGA TRAINED OVER 3800 WOMEN/YOUTHS ON SKILL ACQUISITION

The Jalingo LG Boss who also doubles as the Algon Chairman Taraba State has trained over 3800 Women/Youths on different skills acquisition.

Speaking at the graduation ceremony which was held yesterday at the council Secretariat, Hon. Abdulnaseer Bobboji expressed satisfaction over the seriousness of the Women/Youths who attended the training.

He thanked his Boss, Master, and Leader, the Executive Governor of Taraba State, His Excellency, Arch Darius Dickson Ishaku for Supporting Jalingo LG towards ensuring that Women/Youths were meaningfully engaged.

He noted that the skills acquisition training was aimed at enabling the beneficiaries to become self-reliant and to contribute their quota to the economic development of the State.

He further said the vocational training would help curb crime and insecurity within Jalingo metropolitan as well as provide a meaningful livelihood for Youths/ Women in the state.

Bobboji urged the beneficiaries to take advantage of the training and get themselves out of unemployment.

The vocational skills training included Tailoring, Make-up, Shoes/Bags Making, Catering, Hygiene, Decoration, Tiles Fixing, Computer Training and Sets light installation & Repairs.
